How it works
This is a handwritten language model. Its words, strings, and weights are the whole model. It writes a poem one word at a time: from the current word it follows one of the outgoing strings, and a heavier string is chosen more often. Larger language models learn their patterns from training text and use much more context.
Each row of a preset builds one line, and a line can have more than one beginning. A separate syllable rule allows only paths that can still finish lines of 5, 7, and 5 syllables, which is why some strings are skipped in some poems. The machine does not judge a poem's meaning or quality.
You can add words and strings of your own. Begin every line here replaces the preset's line beginnings with your selected word. Reset restores the selected preset. Everything runs in your browser.
